I’m Arianna Mao, a VFX artist, illustrator and multidisciplinary hobbyist in the Lower Mainland.

My art focuses on the small serendipities of daily life. I create in search of joy and I am inspired by the minute details and the histories of things and places. My art is a chronicle of my discoveries and a diary of my delights.

I dedicate a portion of every day to this exploration. To me, creating art and painting are both ritual and craft.

When I’m not painting, I’m crafting! I am an avid knitter and hobby hoarder.
