Bill's Story
Bill Thomson has been a visual artist for over 25 years.
He brings to the table a wide range of art making skills, together with extensive community cultural development experience and knowledge.
He has numerous group and solo art exhibitions to his credit and believes passionately in the object d’art. Bill is the past President of the Burnaby Arts Council and a Director with the Sculptors’ Society of BC.
Bill approaches his art making as a visual exploration of the everyday world around him. He revisits traditional perceptions of the relationship between form and function, as he transforms found consumer objects and materials into ‘one-of-a-kind’ statements or images. Bill is open to commissions and sales of his work.
