Christopher's Story
Christopher Brabant was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, on Treaty 4 territory, and moved to BC in 2019 to pursue a Master’s degree.
Chris found his passion in leathercrafting during a trip abroad, and began creating leather goods in 2022. Chris’ work focuses on hobbies. He creates items that show support for the hobbies of people he cares about, including golf, tabletop games, card games, musical instruments, and more.
Every piece is a tribute to what makes us unique and a celebration of passion.
My work is about gift giving. I found the hobby I love in leathercraft, and soon found joy in creating unique pieces that celebrate the hobbies of those I care about.
A dice tray for a friend; a golf ball holder for my dad. It’s in these moments I realized how meaningful it is to share a piece of someone’s passion.
