Moving through the growing number of concrete towers in metro Vancouver prompts me to look up and as I do I imagine what it is like to be there, way up there, at the top of our world class city. Being so close to the sky, the light, the ride to the top of the sky scraper; does is create a new dimension of experience? Of beauty? Of time? Of community? Visual and temporal distortions influence with my oil and acrylic paintings. I seek to explore the constant changes of our urban environment and emphasize the value of historic architecture.
