Grant's Story

Grant (he/him) is a self-taught artist of settler ancestry with an interdisciplinary art practice which includes photography, lens-based experimentation and conceptual installation. This curious, playful creative draws from his background in teaching and science to challenge conventional definitions of photography and art. Also a community-based arts practitioner, Grant is the co-founder and co-director of both bLINK Visionary Arts and Burnaby’s StrideFest arts festival.

Grant and his family live in Burnaby on Canada’s beautiful west coast.
