Community Festivals

As one of the original founders of “StrideFest” art festival in Burnaby, we know that community gatherings encourage relationships and reduce isolation in neighbourhoods. That is why we continue to host this annual festival, connecting over 4,000 people each year through our free art workshops, art walks, and concerts. Every one of our low barrier workshops and events presents an opportunity for connections to each other centred around the diversity and richness of Burnaby’s amazing artists.

As part of the steering committee for “ConnectFest”, we join many other Burnaby organizations who have hosted events for this yearly festival. Our cultural food events centre around reducing food insecurity, isolation and racial bias.
