I was born in northern Alberta, lived in the Okanagan for 9 years while going to school. In my late teen years I left for Edmonton to find employment, a great experience in the working world. The last 58 years I have lived in beautiful Burnaby BC.

Some of my hobbies were ceramics, 3-D paper tole pictures, tole painting, petite point, knitting, sewing and crocheting. I got serious about painting in 2002 after retiring. Travelling a lot, I photographed subjects then created a watercolor when I got home.

I worked in the business community for over 14 years and since retirement, have volunteered at many venues giving satisfaction to me.

My watercolors include still life, birds, flowers, sunsets, buildings and many other subjects that interest me. The newest medium I discovered during Covid was Alcohol Ink art, a medium giving me freedom by just blowing the ink.
