In addition to being a science-minded academic and educator, I need to express my artistic side. My main creative passion has always been photography. I love being able to capture and preserve the beautiful, interesting, and memorable moments of everyday life. In the last couple of years, watercolour painting has also become a wonderful creative outlet for me. Like the process of making photographs, painting forces one to appreciate the details of the world around us. I am enjoying the journey of experimenting with different techniques and styles and am looking forward to where it takes me.
